About Cody Myers Cody Myers, who grew up in San Diego, California, is a Berklee College of Music trained blues pianist, and has been teaching group and private keyboard lessons since 2012. Cody's mission is to ensure the music lessons are a pleasurable experience that lead to a lifetime of enjoying and appreciating music. Mr. Cody began teaching on-line lessons in 2018 - and seamlessly moved to teaching online via Zoom when Quarantine 2020 began. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to bring music directly into people's homes during these "interesting" times. Music has always been part of my life. I grew up in a musical home and attended two different creative and performing arts schools. I also play drums, trumpet, and trombone – and I discovered my passion for teaching music early on. To ensure I can meet all of my students' varied needs, I constantly seek to expand my understanding of successful learning methods – focusing on which methods contribute to a positive inspiring lesson that leaves my students motivated to learn.   ____________________________________________________ In addition to keyboard lessons, Cody also teaches Reason and other  music composition software programs. Cody can help musicians who want to learn or improve their music composition and editing skills.
